Alison Enriquez

Multi-instrumentalist

Alison Enriquez (Ali) is a Cuban-Canadian multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter. Her
genres range from deep classical roots to jazz, latin, R&B, pop and fusion. She’s played on
stages around Canada, Cuba and Italy. (ex. Romerías de Mayo, Cuba – Halifax Jazz Festival,
Canada- Ravello Music Fest, Italy – etc). With 15+ years of classical training under her wing
(violin), she then studied music at Dalhousie University and is currently pursuing a popular
music diploma at the Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC), allowing her to make a greater
focus on her main interests: creating and educating. Alison has been a teacher at Andrea’s Music
Studio since October of 2021 (violin, piano and vocals) and is now teaching at Long & McQuade
in Dartmouth. Ali is a member of the Back Alley Big Band playing Electric Violin, singing
Backing and Lead Vocals and playing Percussion.
