Luke Dobson

Luke Dobson is a trumpet player from Halifax, Nova Scotia that
graduated from St. Francis Xavier University in 2024 with a
Bachelor’s of Music Degree with Honours in Jazz Studies. Luke
can be seen playing with many different groups around Halifax
such as the Nova Scotia Youth Jazz Orchestra, Maritime Jazz
Collective, and most recently, Guavaberry Nights: a Tribute to
Juan Luis Guerra. Luke has also had the pleasure to play on
stage with the Grammy Award winning latin group from San
Fransisco, the Pacific Mambo Orchestra during the Antigonish
Jazz Festival in 2023.
