Tom Roach

A proud native of New Waterford and graduate of Berklee College of Music, Tom is a long established drummer/percussionist in Halifax. His career has spanned decades with countless live performances and years of international touring.
Tom has appeared on hundreds of recordings, including multiple ECMA nominated and winning titles, highlighted by his own ECMA award winning “Piano Trios.” He has performed regularly in the pit at Neptune theatre and on stage with Symphony Nova Scotia.
Since retiring from his 17 year service with the Stadacona Band of the Royal Canadian Navy, Tom continues to explore his opportunities as a freelance professional. He is currently on faculty at the Fountain School of Performing Arts, Dalhousie University.
