Olivier Neron-Bilodeau

Born and raised in Quebec city, Olivier started playing piano at the age of 5. While doing his bachelor degree in Jazz interpretation at Laval University, he began his career as a freelancer playing in night clubs and for private events.
In order to accomplish his life goals, Olivier decided to join the Canadian Armed Forces as a musician in 2010. His first posting was in Victoria, BC with the Naden Band of the Royal Canadian Navy. After almost 13 years there, he was posted to Halifax NS with his young family. Olivier enjoys playing all music with an element of improvisation. His favorite styles are jazz, funk and afro-cuban music.
